NICE is a half-hour series about Teddy Park, a Korean American woman in Minnesota, who must deal with the consequences of keeping her breast cancer a secret from her friends and family. Naomi Ko created, wrote, and stars in this pilot. It was directed by Andrew Ahn (Spa Night, This Close), produced by Carolyn Mao, and an official selection for the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival.

Teddy Park (Naomi Ko) receives both a pleasant and unpleasant surprise at the doctor's office.

[Nice] is completely hilarious and quite relatable. Not only does Naomi Ko turn Teddy into a character that you can get behind and one whose journey you definitely want to be a part of. When talking about the writing everything is sharp and witty... Our Grade: A-, A seriously funny short/pilot that I hope does make it to series. Naomi Ko is someone to look out for as she really does an excellent job writing and acting in this really fun piece.

My favorite thing out of #Tribeca2018 was pilot of Nice created by [Naomi Ko]. Darkly funny, moving and whip smart while elevating diverse voices and talent. I truly hope to see this one picked up, it shows just as much promise as many of the sad comedies currently out there.
